Overview

Purpose of this guide

This guide is intended to let you experience real-time PPP positioning with MADOCA-PPP, using a Septentrio mosaic-G5 receiver and MRTKLIB.

Before you begin

Checking your environment

This guide has been verified to work in the following environments.

  • Windows 11 25H2 (AMD64)
  • macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 (Apple Silicon)
  • Ubuntu 24.04 (AMD64)

Preparing the receiver, antenna, and cable

This guide assumes you have the following receiver, antenna, and cable.

  • Receiver: Septentrio mosaic-G5 P6 evaluation kit
  • Antenna: full-band GNSS antenna (e.g., Yokowo YOZ-52728)
  • USB cable: a USB cable to connect the receiver to the host PC

Note

You can also follow the same steps with a mosaic-G5 P3 or P8 receiver.

The big picture

The figure below shows the big picture of this guide. The full-band GNSS antenna and the mosaic-G5 receive GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS signals; the raw measurements are processed by MRTKLIB in Docker to produce a PPP solution, and the results are shown in the web UI.
